About the Role :
Join us as a Director of Business Units, where you'll play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our business unit, focusing on the achievement of strategic goals across multiple portfolios. You will be instrumental in driving sustainable growth, overseeing P&L responsibilities, ensuring compliance and governance, and fostering team development across operational, sales, and contract management functions.
What You'll Do :
- Promote a safety-first culture, encouraging proactive behaviors to enhance employee well-being.
- Develop business and sales strategies that respond to emerging economic, technological, and market trends.
- Accelerate sustainable and profitable growth for the business unit.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through in-person engagements.
- Monitor and enhance client satisfaction, utilizing NPS and CSAT data to drive performance improvements.
- Anticipate customer needs through active engagement and sharing of best practices.
- Establish a robust customer reporting regime at the account level and participate in key strategic meetings to evolve account management.
- Implement governance and controls to ensure high-quality, compliant operational outcomes.
- Guide and mentor teams to prepare comprehensive account reviews and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee a monthly Business Unit Review to ensure transparency and data integrity.
- Develop a robust succession plan for the business unit.
- Advocate for continuous innovation and improvement across all operations.
- Support people engagement initiatives and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) objectives.
- Lead and engage your team, creating clarity in roles and promoting a culture of ownership and development.
- Ensure your team has the necessary skills and motivation to thrive in their roles.
- Drive business development efforts to meet ambitious growth targets.
- Oversee the tender development process, ensuring excellence in presentation and commercial reviews.
- Manage all aspects of Profit & Loss, developing financial plans that drive revenue and cost control.
- Effectively communicate and implement business policies and processes throughout the unit.
- Uphold thorough commercial and financial governance through diligent reporting.
- Lead the procurement strategy, focusing on value, performance, and compliance.
- Manage vendor relationships to maximize value at the account level.

California Residents : The annual salary for this position ranges from $159,000 to $250,000, with the final offer dependent on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
