CBTS is searching for a highly skilled Power Apps Engineer to lead a high-visibility project within our IT department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing complex custom applications and workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate, leveraging the standard Power Apps license model (not Premium licenses).
Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications and workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure applications are optimized for performance and responsiveness.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Interface Design: Craft intuitive and user-friendly interfaces by adhering to best practices and design principles.
- Quality Assurance: Perform meticulous testing and debugging to guarantee the reliability and efficiency of applications.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all applications and processes.
- Customization: Customize and extend standard functionalities of Power Apps to meet specific business needs.
- User Training: Train end-users on how to effectively use Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
- Project Leadership: Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in developing custom applications and workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, including Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, and Power Automate.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Training Experience: Experience in training end-users on Power Platform solutions.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate) are a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Location: Prefer candidates local to the Cincinnati area, with availability to work in-office 3-4 days per week but REMOTE is possible for the right candidate.
