We are a growing practice seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant/Scribe in our Warrenton, OR Clinic.
About the Position
This dynamic, full-time role combines the responsibilities of a Medical Assistant and Scribe, offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a detail-oriented individual. You will play a crucial role in supporting our dermatology providers by assisting with patient care and medical documentation.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to the following):
- Assist providers with patient care, including preparing patients for exams and procedures.
- Accurately document patient encounters, medical histories, exam notes, and treatment plans in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Ensure smooth workflow by handling administrative tasks such as scheduling, verifying insurance, and obtaining prior authorizations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, medical instruments, and supplies.
- Educate patients on post-procedure care and treatment instructions.
- Work closely with the dermatology team to provide a seamless patient experience.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Requirements:
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a dermatology clinic (preferred but not required).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, including excellent phone etiquette.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and thorough knowledge of HIPAA policies and procedures.
