• Support implementation of CCCBSD’s annual development plan, including mailings, appeals, and reports
• Assist with planning, materials preparation, and logistics for fundraising events (e.g., Spring Soirée, Lone Gull)
• Track and reconcile event gifts, prepare post-event reports, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate on the Annual Appeal, Annual Report, and other key outreach efforts
• Support alumni and board engagement activities
• Assist with internal and external communications, including website and social media updates
• Conduct preliminary grant research under the guidance of the Director of Advancement
• Participate in department-wide planning and strategic initiatives
• Attend internal and external events and represent CCCBSD in a professional, values-aligned manner
• Support visitors and events on campus as needed
What We’re Looking For
• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit communications
• Experience with donor databases (e.g., Bloomerang or similar)
• Strong organizational and writing skills with high attention to detail
• Commitment to inclusive, accessible communication (spoken, written, signed, or AAC)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively
• Positive, flexible attitude and willingness to grow professionally
• ASL proficiency or willingness to take ASL classes (offered at CCCBSD)
