The Overhaul Superintendent is responsible for ensuring the Overhaul Department operates efficiently, meeting both company and client objectives. This role involves overseeing planning, execution, and completion of overhaul projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards. The superintendent will lead a team, coordinate resources, and maintain communication with stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

CCI Industrial Services provides quality-driven, cost-effective construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation services to support resource development companies in Alaska and the lower 48 states.   • Assist the Overhaul Manager in planning and developing Overhaul Project schedules for review by the client and CCI Industrial Management.
  • Coordinates and assists the Overhaul Manager with developing and packaging mechanical projects for effective proposal presentations and RFP responses with the management team.
  • Oversee and manage all overhaul activities, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of overhaul operations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other departments to ensure seamless execution.
  • Participate in oil and gas industry professional organizations.
  • Maintain high-quality standards and ensure compliance with client requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding overhaul projects.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support business growth.
  • Be a Safety Leader! Ensure the resources and commitment to HSE is of top priority for all employees within the company.
  • Maintain 100% “Safety Standards and Accountability” in all areas or mandatory/regulatory requirements, which include:
    • Maintain compliance with the required HSE Training.
    • Taking necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe.
    • Reporting and addressing all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly and willingly participate and assist in any investigation that may relate to a safety incident.
    • Performs work in strict compliance with permitting requirements, Alaska Safety Handbook (ASH) Standards and other compliance-oriented directives. The FS1 Facility Operator has STOP work authority.
    • Participating in safety meetings, working safely, and maintaining a safe work environment as an employee and representative of CCI Industrial Services.
    • Document and record any injury or near miss incident that may occur while you are working.
    • Demonstrate and promote safe work practices by participating in JSA reviews, pre-job walkdowns and safety START card preparations covering work activities and materials required by the company and the client.
    • Promote and participate in Safety Programs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to review /create and submit daily reports to the client
  • Knowledge of static and rotating mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams, schematics and procedures.
  • Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in dismantling, moving, assembling and installing industrial oil and gas facility machinery.
  • Knowledgeable of the methods to verify dimensions of machine parts, using gauges, calipers and micrometers.
  • Manage the planning and scheduling of the workforce.
  • Capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Knowledge of Integrity Management and general oilfield and industrial services.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • A valid driver's license
  • 10 plus years' experience in Oil and Gas Industry
  • TWIC Card

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA 10 or 30

Work Environment:

Work involves near continuous use of a computer and may require sitting for extended periods. Some overtime may be required.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A pre-hire post offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to determine an employee's ability to perform to the job standard. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • MOBILITY: Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 20 pounds for 20 feet. Shoveling up to 20 lbs. Frequent walking and standing. Occasional keyboard use, sitting, bending, twisting, and reaching.
  • HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.
  • VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.
  • LIFTING: Must be able to routinely lift to 20 pounds from floor to waist, 20 pounds from waist level to shoulder height and carry 20 pounds for 20 feet.
  • RANGE OF MOTION: An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE.
