General Description:

The Project Manager manages key client projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. Monday - Friday work schedule.

The Project Manager position works directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. This position will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will ensure the resources are in place to deliver the scope. Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

This position will be responsible for driving CCI's Mission, Vision, and Values, a crucial part of the strategic plan to drive success. CCI Industrial Services leads the industry in Safety, Innovation, and Excellence. CCI's mission is to provide quality-driven, cost-effective construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation services to support resource development companies.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  • Responsible for planning, tracking, & review of Major Projects, including Project Construction & Fabrication, Civil Tech, Electrical & Instrumentation.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining project planning forecasts, manpower requirements, equipment forecasts, and review documents.
  • Coordinate with operations team, HSE, Fleet & equipment team, and other regional leads to ensure project scoping is effectively developed and resource loaded.
  • Complete detailed project kick off/Recap meetings for major projects internally and with clients.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, meeting all HSEQ standards and within budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Skilled in project management.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Skilled in written and verbal communication.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Adept using Microsoft Office software suite.

  • Standard office environment
  • Flexibility regarding hours of work is required as needed to meet demands of the job
  • Work involves near continuous use of computer and may require sitting for extended periods
  • Position may be exposed to extremely hostile weather conditions at times while traveling to and from remote work sites and working outdoors
  • While performing the duties of this job in the field employee will be directly at the construction work site and could be exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock
  • The noise in these work environments is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to very loud while in remote working locations
  • Position may be at risk to exposure to potentially hazardous materials and wastes
  • Continuous education may be required following hire

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in Arctic oil field construction, operations, and refining.
  • Project Management software experience (Project, Primavera, etc.) required.
  • Current Driver's License is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in Arctic oil field construction, operations, and refining.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • MOBILITY: While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses computers on a daily basis. Also, some physical exertion is required including walking, standing, climbing, pulling, and pushing. He/she is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • HEARING: The employee frequently is required to talk or hear while answering phones, working with customers, clients, supervisors, audible safety alarms etc.
  • VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner. Ability to see and complete work on a personal computer and read color coded writing on equipment forms, etc.
  • LIFTING: Must be able to lift 20 lbs. from floor to waist, 20 lbs. from waist to shoulder height. Must be able to carry 20 lbs. for 20 feet.

Contingencies:

Offer contingent upon ability to pass a pre-employment HAIR FOLLICLE drug test, and 7-year Marathon Criminal Record Check.
