Document Controller (Long-term Contract Role)
About Us
Our agency partners with leading energy companies to support their critical projects. We are currently seeking a skilled Document Controller for a long-term contract position within the energy sector. This role will focus on maintaining the accuracy and quality of project-related documents while working closely with Project Management Teams (PMT), EPC contractors, licensors, vendors, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of electronic document submissions.
- Support the integration of document control strategies between stakeholders to improve work processes.
- Provide guidance on document management systems and work processes for the PMT.
- Ensure compliance with contract and document control requirements.
- Plan and manage site and field document control processes.
- Maintain accurate workflow processes within the document management system.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with PMT to provide ongoing support.
- Be observant of safety practices and proactively identify workflow improvements.
- Receive, review, and distribute project documents in a timely manner.
- Keep accurate records of documentation within the management system.
- Conduct research and gather data to support ongoing projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Document Controller in a project environment, either on the EPC or client side.
- Experience with electronic document management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in reporting and prioritization.
- Team-oriented with a hands-on approach.
Work Environment
- Must be able to wear necessary PPE and work in varied weather conditions.
- Exposure to construction environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
- May be required to work at elevated heights and access elevated structures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
Onsite position located in Brownsville, Texas. Long-term contract opportunity with potential for extension.
