Job Summary
A F&P Machine Operator is responsible for operating assigned machinery, ensuring smooth operation, capacity utilization, and maintenance.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Operate converting equipment: slitter machine, laminating machine, rotary die cutter, flatbed die cutter, rewind tables, and inspect labels for defects.
- Perform quality checks, package labels, and complete required paperwork.
- Use QAD to issue/receive product, print core/box labels, and complete miscellaneous tasks.
Skills/Abilities
- Prior production experience preferred.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to process product within quality and productivity standards.
- Mechanical aptitude, analytical, organizational, communication, and computer skills required.
- Able to work in a team environment.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing at a machine.
- Lifting up to 35 pounds at times.
