What You’ll Accomplish
- Operating an electric Duffy Boat for passengers around a lake
- Assisting passengers on an off the vessel
- Providing a unique and informative lake tour
- Cleaning and maintaining designated areas
- Assisting with lake attendant tasks including patrol
- Following all safety protocols for loading and unloading
- Distributing life jackets and safety instructions to passengers
- Reporting any damage or safety concerns to the Harbor Master
- Observing and encouraging compliance with lake rules and code of conduct
- Serving as an informational and educational resource
- CPR certification (class and certification fee are provided)
- Watercraft operation experience
- High degree of customer service, interpersonal, and communications skills
- Problem solving skills
- Leadership abilities
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:
- Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.
- Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
- Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
