20Summary:
The weekend Social Worker LMSW must be available each Saturday and Sunday to provide services to our pediatric patients and families at our Prosper Medical Center who have acute or chronic medical conditions. The Social Worker will provide ongoing supportive counseling aimed at maintaining the functional behavior of families and assess families for needed assistance with resource procurement that will aid the family's efforts in caring for their child.
Work Hours/Days: Sat & Sun 8 am - 6:30 pm, Eligible for benefits
Required Education/Experience:
MSW or MSSW from an accredited school.
Current Texas License for LMSW or LCSW.
Previous experience working in a hospital preferred.
Demonstrated experience working with children and their families preferred.
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for Health Care Providers must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
