We are seeking a dynamic Solution Architect to join our team, working directly with clients in the agricultural industry in a Director of IT capacity. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, sustainability, and innovation within the farming and agricultural sectors. As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with leadership teams, manage cross-functional projects, and help shape the future of agricultural technology through strategic IT deployments that drive real-world impact. Your technical expertise, leadership skills, and understanding of the unique challenges in agriculture will be crucial in delivering cutting-edge solutions for our clients.

What You Will Accomplish and Experience
- Lead client engagements by acting as a Director of IT, providing strategic IT leadership that aligns with agricultural business objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Architect and design innovative, farm-focused technology solutions that improve efficiency, sustainability, and scalability in agricultural operations.
- Collaborate with farming and agricultural stakeholders to define technology requirements, ensuring solutions that meet the needs of both small-scale farms and large agricultural enterprises.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging ag-tech trends, including precision farming, IoT for agriculture, data analytics, and automation technologies.
- Oversee the design and deployment of network infrastructure, cloud-based solutions, agricultural IoT devices, and other IT systems to support modern farming operations.
- Manage large-scale, cross-functional agricultural technology projects, ensuring delivery within budget and on time.
- Serve as the key liaison between farm leadership, agricultural teams, and IT professionals, translating operational needs into actionable technology strategies.
- Evaluate and recommend hardware, software, and tools specific to agricultural processes, considering long-term sustainability and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation and strategic roadmaps for the integration of technology solutions into farming practices.
- Oversee the ongoing maintenance, optimization, and updates of agricultural systems to ensure continuous, reliable performance.
- Lead change management initiatives, guiding clients through the adoption of new technologies, fostering smooth transitions, and minimizing disruptions to farming operations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant agricultural regulations, biosecurity standards, data security standards, and industry best practices.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and fostering growth in agricultural technology adoption.
- Maintain and collaborate with vendors to research, develop, and implement effective solutions while resolving technical challenges.
- Work alongside multiple clients as a trusted partner, onsite 100% of the time.
- Maintain 24 / 7 / 365 on-call availability to ensure continuous client support and rapid issue resolution.
