Overview: The Director, Procurement will lead and manage the company's procurement function and develop sourcing strategies aligned with the company's goals, objectives and strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop sourcing strategies for all procurement related activities.
  • Proactively manage the categories by tracking spend by supplier and developing preferred supplier analysis, with a goal of optimizing the number of suppliers while maximizing year over year savings and driving shareholder value.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key business leaders to understand and support their supplier needs.
  • Develop a strategy for leveraging suppliers of common goods or services for cost, service, and performance enhancements. Lead the process from identification, negotiation of commercial terms and awarding of contracts, and supplier onboarding & subsequent diligence review.
  • Develop and manage requests for information, quotes, and proposals.
  • Research and implement industry best practices. Create and implement standard processes for procurement of services for the company. Review current policies and procedures; identify, analyze, and document procurement work processes and redundancies; identify potential areas for improvement opportunities; make recommendations for process and governance improvements that align with the strategic initiatives of the company. Drive process efficiencies and eliminate non-value added activities.
  • Act as a change management leader / influencer to mature the sourcing processes and ensure new processes and procedures are appropriately understood and adopted within the organization.
  • Participate with Legal on purchase agreements and negotiations of commercial terms for goods and services. Ensure supplier compliance to ComplexCare Solutions policies as well as terms and conditions to ensure best in class economics and minimized risk.
  • Evaluate and update the supplier database and reporting, ensuring supplier details are kept current and insightful analytics are provided to partners and stakeholders.
  • Partner with Technology, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure processes and procedures for diligence and assessing suppliers are meeting regulatory and internal risk standards.
  • Be able to lead and influence cross-divisional business teams including IT teams, Product teams, Legal, and Finance in the successful implementation of strategies, bidding processes, contract negotiations, and project planning.
  • Report on key accomplishments and performance against KPI's.
  • Stay current with developments in the industry and the third-party management practice to ensure program matures as needed.
  • Achieve annual productivity targets within the Enterprise Procurement productivity framework.
  • Drive increased certified diverse supplier spend in contracts.
  • Maintain compliance with ComplexCare Solutions policies, procedures and mission statement.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within ComplexCare Solutions Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position.
  • Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by ComplexCare Solutions for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years' work experience in Procurement of enterprise spending software, hardware, and IT services, including proven experience in contract negotiation, negotiation strategies, and implementing cost saving initiatives.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead with strong collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Proven skills in risk-assessment and commitment to proper compliance documentation.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and project management skills and be able to develop total cost of ownership. Understanding NPV, ROI and IRR are a plus.
  • Detail oriented with strong organization and time management skills to meet strict deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Adaptable, can seamlessly maintain effort and focus when priorities change.
  • Positive attitude even when faced with difficult obstacles, issues, or challenges.
  • Won't compromise values to get results.
  • Eagerness to embrace and lead change.
  • Experience leading competitive bidding processes (RFPs).
  • Understanding of Master Agreement terms and conditions.
  • Ability to persevere and is resilient in the pursuit of objectives, willing to take on new challenges and works to resolve tough issues.
  • Effective communicator (verbal and written) with all stakeholders.
  • Works well with others and can lead internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver results.
  • Treats all people with respect and fairness; open to and respectful of others' opinions and diverse points of view.
  • Takes initiative to find ways to get better results; seeks and takes advantage of ideas and best practices.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Master's degree is preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time).
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force.
  • Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions.
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions.
  • Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.
