The Corporate Field Marketing function is headed into its third year of operation. Originally designed to better connect the work of regional and service-line teams with corporate strategy, the program continues to evolve to support the ongoing elevation of firm-wide marketing and business development initiatives.The Senior Director, Field Marketing will join this high-performing and fast-growing Corporate Marketing department, providing leadership to the Field Marketing team. This professional will be responsible for developing the overall Field Marketing strategy, in partnership with the SVP, Marketing, and implementing the program through a team of regional field marketers.RESPONSIBILITIES Conducting an analysis of the current field marketing program, evaluating effectiveness and isolating opportunities for enhancementEngaging with marketing, business development, and business strategy leaders to isolate program priorities for 2025 and beyondDeveloping the annual field marketing program strategy, including guiding strategies, field marketing roles, and KPIs for the following key activity areas : Events and conferencesBrand, partnerships, and public relationsClient communications and stewardshipDigital media and innovationsContent and thought leadershipPlanning, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on the effectiveness of regional marketing activities and ensuring that all marketing activities align with corporate strategy and guidelinesManaging the field marketing team to drive successful execution of the program : Direct supervision of two current field marketersRecruitment and training of an additional field marketer (budget for Q1 2025)Establishing clear performance expectations for all team membersProviding constructive feedback, coaching, and professional development to grow the skills of the teamDirectly leading the field marketing partnership strategy and implementation for CCS’s new service linesRegularly communicating program goals, progress, and successes with regional partners and firm leadershipCollaborating with the broader marketing team on overall program strategy, representing insights and perspectives from the fieldQUALIFICATIONS A minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing or business developmentExperience driving a collaborative marketing program, with field marketing roles preferredExperience with program development, a plusHigh degree of personal integrity and accountabilityOutstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and externalThe capacity to discern overall trends and patterns, absorb different pieces of data, and synthesize the best path forwardFamiliarity with the culture and structure of the nonprofit industry and / or fundraising practice preferredAn interest in and commitment to the mission and values of CCS Fundraising and its clientsCCS offers competitive benefits, a dynamic training program, resources, career advancement, mentoring, and networking opportunities.
