What are the responsibilities and job description for the Juniper Network Engineer position at CCS Global Tech?
Candidate MUST be local to San Francisco Bay Area
Roles / Responsibilities :
Task 1 : Deployment and Onboarding of MX10004, 7100, 4400 MX304 and QFX
XMPOE location Site #2 SMPOE. Configuration, preparation, and local testing.
Task 1 Deliverables :
A. Site #2 routers prepared, tested, and ready for universal testing and migration
B. Provide update networking documentation- IP address spreadsheets and device inventory
C. Base configuration completion, including uplink configurations
D. Verifications for connectivity and no bugs / errors
Task 2 : Deployment and Onboarding of MX10004, 7100, 4400, MX304 and QFX
XMPOE location Site #3 NMPOE. Configuration, preparation, and local testing.
Task 2 Deliverables :
A. Site #3 routers prepared, tested, and ready for universal testing and migration
B. Provide update networking documentation- IP address spreadsheets and device inventory
C. Base configuration completion, including uplink configurations
D. Verifications for connectivity and no bugs / errors
Task 3 : Universal Testing of Site #2 and Site #3. Assess and advise test plan to ensure
end-to-end success, including internet edge.
Task 3 Deliverables :
A. Site #2 and #3 ready for migration
B. Draft detailed method of procedure “MOP”
Task 4 : Migration cutover from legacy to new network according to “MOP”.
Task 4 Deliverables :
A. Resident Engineer shall be available to work nights during the maintenance window
B. Resident engineer shall be available to work onsite at SFO ITT location.
C. Successful migration from legacy network to new with little to no impact to airport operations
Mandatory Qualifications / Skills :
- Experience and training with installing, configuring, and managing EVPN / MPLS with Paragon
- Experience and training with installing, configuring, and managing an EVPN / MPLS network
- Experience and training with installing, configuring, and managing EVPN / VXLAN with Apstra
- Experience and training with installing, configuring, and managing an EVPN / VXLAN Fabric
- Experience and training with installing, configuring, and managing an EVPN / VXLAN Fabric DCIs
- Experience and training with installing, configuring, and managing Juniper’s MX, QFX, EX, SRX routers, firewalls, and switches
- Must provide references who can be contacted to verify the experience listed in Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able to work nights.
