Position: Software Engineer – SME (Salesforce Expert)
Location: Chantilly, Virginia
Salary Range: $198K - $205K
Job Description
We are seeking a Software Engineer SME with expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud for full-lifecycle application development. This role involves designing, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages while working in a complex and collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, a quick learner, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications.
- Develop full-stack applications using Salesforce Health Cloud.
- Work closely with the IT Project Manager and other developers to design, implement, and maintain high-quality systems.
- Design user interfaces, write and test code/scripts on the Salesforce platform.
- Lead initiatives to evolve applications into next-generation technologies such as serverless and microservices.
- Perform moderate to complex analysis, design, and development of new solutions.
- Provide support to customers using developed toolsets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong Full-Stack Development experience.
- Expertise in modern web development, JavaScript, Apex, and Visualforce.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile environment.
- Experience with AWS DevOps and understanding of CI/CD lifecycle.
- Proficiency with JIRA and GitHub.
- Experience in implementing testing platforms and unit tests.
- Prior experience supporting the Intelligence Community.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer certification.
Education Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
