Job Description
The Workday IT Lead Analyst – HCM will serve as a technical subject matter expert for Workday HCM (Human Capital Management). This role plays a pivotal part in supporting and evolving the company’s Workday ecosystem and HR-related processes through implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- System Support & Optimization:
- Owns the maintenance and support of Workday HCM modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent & Performance, Absence, and others as needed.
- Project Management:
- Leads Workday HCM projects or enhancements from requirements gathering, planning, testing, and implementation to post-launch support.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partners with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders to understand business needs, identify gaps, and deliver Workday solutions that improve business performance.
- Configuration & Development:
- Configures and maintains Workday business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, integrations, and security.
- Data Management:
- Assists in data loads, audits, corrections, and ensures data integrity across HCM modules.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
- Diagnoses, analyzes, and resolves complex Workday system problems in a timely manner.
- Training & Documentation:
- Creates training materials and documentation to support users and new system capabilities.
Requirements
Experience:
- 12 years of Workday experience with a focus on HCM.
- Hands-on experience configuring multiple Workday modules.
- Demonstrated success leading or significantly contributing to Workday HCM implementations or optimization efforts.
- Experience in all Workday HCM areas including setting up dashboards, configuring, integrations, etc.
- Experience with Workday Extend or Prism Analytics is a huge plus.
- Ability to manage and deliver on multiple priorities at the same time
Skills:
- Deep understanding of HR business processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in Workday Studio, EIBs, Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Business Process Framework.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday Pro or other Workday certifications.
- Experience in the retail or service industry is a plus.
