What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinician - Outpatient Services position at CCTC Opportunities?
CCTC is seeking an hourly Clinician for the Outpatient department to complete intake assessments and provide individual and family psychotherapy to children ages 3-13 presenting with behavioral health issues.
Responsibilities include;
- Engaging children and families in therapeutic process by providing 1 therapy session a week These sessions can be individual, family therapy, or collateral sessions with parents/caregivers for each child assigned to caseload.
- Conducting and writing up intake assessments and follow through with appropriate recommendation and/or referrals.
- Maintaining timely, accurate chart records and ensuring necessary documents and signatures are completed and maintained for each intake and ongoing case assignments.
- Develop and complete discharge plan with parents/caretakers for each discharged case.
- Participating in internal as well as external trainings ensuring completion of CCTC mandatory trainings, as well as, trainings required for continued licensure.
Requirements:
Master's of Social Work or psychology related field with minimum of one-year experience providing psychotherapy to children and their families. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates encouraged to apply. Covid Vaccination required.
