What are the responsibilities and job description for the Buyer's Assistant position at CCU Coal and Construction?
Job Summary
We are looking for an organized and motivated individual to join our team. The buyer’s assistant will provide support in the purchasing process of parts, assist with vendor relationships and coordinate with finance and administration departments.
Responsibilities
· Complete the purchase order process that includes issuing, completing and receiving.
· Answer telephone, scan documents, and other clerical duties as needed.
· Order and Track Fuel and Oil and submit monthly accounting reports.
· Renew Scale Permits Research and negotiate pricing of parts and supplies.
· Complete any other duties as assigned by their supervisor.
Specialized Skills/Knowledge:

· Excellent work ethics and attention to detail

· Capacity to work both independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment
· Strong understanding of Purchasing principles and processes with ordering parts
· Experienced with QuickBooks and MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
· Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb
· Physically able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds
· Knowledge of the construction industry and heavy equipment is helpful
Experience
· High school diploma or GED certificate
· Experience: 0 to 5 years
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
