Oracle Exadata System Application DBA
Charlotte, NC (Onsite Day 1/Hybrid)
Long Term/W2

Responsibilities:

Database Administration: Manage and maintain Oracle Exadata systems running DW and ODS, ensuring high availability and performance.
Data Migration: Lead the migration of schemas and data from existing systems to Oracle Exadata, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance, including SQL and PL/SQL tuning, to meet SLAs.
Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection, using DB backups, data pump, Data Guard etc
Security Management: Ensure database security and compliance with organizational policies.
Collaboration: Work closely with application developers, data architects, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, migration strategies, and performance tuning activities.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Technical Skills:

Strong experience with Oracle Exadata systems.

Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.

Experience in DW schema and data migration projects.

Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization.

Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies.
