Position: Full Charge Firm Bookkeeper
Business unit: Administration, Finance
Accountability Chart Function: Bookkeeping
Reports to: COO/Integrator
Purpose: Responsible for managing all aspects of a company's financial records, including recording daily transactions, processing accounts payable and receivable, managing payroll, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, essentially overseeing the complete financial cycle of a business.
Key results: Financial statements, accounting records and payroll processing for the firm are accurate, up to date and completed by internal deadlines to allow timely financial management of the firm.
Key outcomes:
- All financial transactions are entered into the accounting software correctly and maintained according to the financial calendar timelines.
- Employee payroll is calculated accurately and paid timely.
- Accounts Payable is maintained and payment terms adherence is achieved for vendor payments and discounts.
- Discrepancies in bank reconciliation process are addressed and resolved.
- Financial Statements are accurate and delivered to the CEO / Executive Leadership.
- Month-end financial processing is completed accurately and on-time.
- Client payments are collected according to terms.
- Provide bookkeeping and payroll services for firm clients.
Qualifications
- Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial concepts
- Experience in double entry bookkeeping and general ledger accounting
- Skilled in balance sheet reconciliation and journal entries
- Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Familiarity with financial report writing and payroll management
- Ability to perform bank and account reconciliations efficiently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
