Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages and abilities, including those with disabilities. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for fostering children's development through engaging activities while ensuring their safety and well-being. YOU WILL BE PAID DAILY at the end of completed shift. This is a contract self employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Implement behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions and resolve conflicts.
- Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through play and structured activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for children at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
- Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, nap time, and hygiene practices.
- Document children's activities and milestones to track their development.
- Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive care plan tailored to each child's needs.
Requirements
- Experience in childcare settings such as daycare or preschool is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Ability to manage behaviors effectively using appropriate techniques.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude with a passion for fostering children's growth and learning.
- Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of children throughout the day.
