We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Project Manager. As an Assistant Project Manager at CD&H, Inc., you will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Job Summary:
The Assistant Project Manager will support the planning, execution, and completion of industrial construction projects. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in project coordination, contractor management, and industrial construction practices. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing industrial construction projects from start to finish.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery.
Monitor project budgets, costs, and timelines, providing reports to senior management.
Assist in preparing and reviewing contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Support the procurement of materials and equipment as needed for project execution.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address project challenges.
Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and field teams.
Help resolve any project-related issues that arise, providing solutions to keep projects on track.
Maintain project records, reports, and documentation for reference and compliance purposes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
2 years of experience in industrial contracting, construction, or project management.
Knowledge of industrial construction methods, safety protocols, and regulations.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Project).
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
OSHA certification or other safety training is a plus.
