CDI Engineering Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Consulting Engineers Limited (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.
Position Summary:
Project manager to support client site in Beaumont, TX
Responsibilities:
Monitor construction progress through site visits and inspections, enforcing quality standards, proactively identifying potential risks, and tracking quantities.
Oversee the change management process by tracking scope adjustments, Field Change Orders (FCOs), and Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring approved modifications are incorporated into cost forecasts.
Plan, organize, and execute capital/expense projects.
Prepare scopes in support of commercial developments, Operation's needs, integrity upgrades, etc.
Ensure projects are designed and constructed in accordance with the Company's Engineering guidelines and specifications, industry codes and standards, and regulatory agency requirements to meet necessary functionality and performance requirements.
Prepare cost estimates and schedules.
Keep stakeholders up to date on project status.
Prepare bid packages for equipment and outside services including consulting engineering, procurement and construction activities.
Make full use of Enterprise subject matter experts.
Participate in reviews of designs prepared by outside engineering contractors, vendors, fabricators and manufacturers.
Ensure all safety/environmental requirements are incorporated into the project.
Qualifications:
Direct experience with midstream & downstream assets/equipment/projects.
Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience is required.
Must demonstrate proven ability in designing and executing projects to ensure engineering guidelines and specifications, industry codes and standards, and regulatory agency requirements are met.
Proven skills in the areas of design/operational characteristics of a wide range of production/pipeline equipment, facility de-bottlenecking/optimization, project scope development, contractor management, project execution and process safety management activities are required.
Working proficiency/knowledge of MS Excel and Project to develop cost estimates and schedules are required.
Ability to learn quickly, adapt and manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment.
Must have prior experience working in a client facility as a project manager.
Effective written and oral communication skills with internal and external customers, at all levels within the organization are required.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree - Engineering Preferred.
