About the Position
- Leads an interdisciplinary team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
- Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
- Conducts cost analysis throughout the project in order to determine estimates to complete and/or additional funding requirements.
- Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including quality, schedule and costs)
- Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Acts as a liaison between company and customers.
- Ensures compliance with client contractual requirements, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
Required Skills/ Abilities

- Thorough understanding of or the ability to learn quickly about the project or product being developed.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience with estimating and proposal development.
- Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software
- Experience with budget monitoring, reviewing, and management functions which include analysis, forecasting, and change management.
- Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing scheduling functions which include planning, critical path analysis, and schedule performance measurement.
Education and Experience
- 10 years of Project Management experience working on small to large capital projects in industrial process facilities.
- 5 years of Scheduling and Planning experience working on small to large both maintenance and capital projects in industrial manufacturing facilities.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or equivalent additional experience
- Professional Engineer license is preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
