Senior Accountant

Responsibilities of the position include:

• Cash Management and reconciliation.
• Monthly close of general ledger.
• Income statement analysis.
• Balance sheet reconciliation.
• End of month financial reporting.
• Fixed asset capitalization.
• Assist with year-end financial and tax audits.
• Sales tax compliance.
• Facilitating budgeting and annual forecasting processes.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Minimum 5 years accounting experience with understanding of GAAP.
• Someone motivated and self-driven.
• Innovative problem solver proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
