CDR Maguire Inc., a national multi-disciplinary engineering and emergency management consulting firm is seeking Liaison Officers to assist in the response to Hurricane Helene. The Liaison Officer serves as an integral link between local governmental agencies and displaced families. They identify gaps within service delivery and connect partners with resources in their efforts to supplement the emergency management capacity and capability of state, local, and tribal governments. Responsibilities including but not limited to :
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Liaise between local governmental agencies and displaced families to provide streamlined, comprehensive, and accessible information regarding federal programs, policies, public-private connections, and situational awareness.
- Ensure collaboration among officials and stakeholder groups to ensure housing and services are provided for displaced families.
- Ensure communication accessibility tools for displaced families who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, or have other communication access requirements to ensure inclusion.
