CDTi is looking for a Materials Coordinator, this position is responsible for receiving and distributing indirect material and raw materials. This position is also responsible for preparing and shipping customer orders and other items as required. Performs monthly and year-end inventory of raw materials and finished goods. Maintains inventory safely and in good condition and responsible for accurate record keeping. Additionally, this position will assist in other operational needs such as QA/QC function as well as manufacturing/production needs.
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable individual to join our team on day shift, this position requires flexibility and willingness to work mandatory overtime and possible 2nd or 3rd shifts depending on workload.
Essential:
- Responsible for preparing and shipping customer orders accurately and in advance of due dates.
- Prepares exports’ documents for shipments going outside of the U.S.
- Performs receiving responsibilities as required.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Prepare and issue PGM to manufacturing as required.
- Storing materials in racks and other warehouse locations. Maintains records and analyzes laboratory reports of individual drums for proper disposition.
- PGM Reclaim collection and preparation to send selected Reclaim as required.
- Ensure security of inventory and warehouse organization.
- Updates shipping procedures and inventory continually during the month.
- Determines month-end and year-end FGI inventory, prepares and mails annual updates of all NAFTA certificates for customers outside the U.S.
- Assisting with the claim process for material damaged by carriers.
Other:
- Coordinates shipments of scrap for PGM reclaim, ships WPC orders and other non-production items using Fed EX, UPS, or truck.
- Completes EPA TCSA, FDA, or Department of Agriculture documents as required for imports.
- Closes temporary import bonds for customs and Border Patrol as required.
- Maintains customer sales orders and shipping documents and makes them available to auditors as necessary.
- File documents regularly to keep them organized.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 0 to 3 years of similar experience as a Material Coordinator or similar position preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently, problem solve and use sound judgement.
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to company systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Mostly Excel) required.
Education:
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED), College Education preferred
- Certification/license in Forklift operation
