The Network Analyst will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting networking equipment and services at various locations. This includes specifying, ordering, configuring, deploying, and maintaining networking solutions. A strong understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP is essential, as well as hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design & Configuration: Specify, order, configure, deploy, and manage networking equipment at multiple Advent locations including campus and clinics.
- Routing Protocols: Work with BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols for optimal network routing and performance.
- Network Troubleshooting: Use logical troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve network issues across LAN/WAN environments.
- Network Security: Maintain and ensure the security of networking equipment, with experience in firewalls (Palo Alto or other OEMs) being a plus.
- Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate documentation of network configurations, deployments, and troubleshooting efforts.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams and vendors to support network operations and improvements.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Cisco Networking Expertise: Experience with Cisco routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
- Networking Fundamentals: Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networks, including OSI model, TCP/IP protocols, subnetting, DHCP pools, and Ethernet.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Logical troubleshooting ability to identify and resolve networking issues efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to be Onsite: Ability to work onsite at the Riverview campus and in ancillary clinics located in the surrounding area.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Firewall Experience: Experience with firewalls, ideally Palo Alto, though other firewall OEMs are acceptable.
- SD-WAN Experience: Experience with SD-WAN solutions, preferably Silver Peak, but familiarity with other OEMs is also valued.
- Cisco ISE: Familiarity with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) is a plus.
