CDW is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to design and develop interactive reports and dashboards, implement data modeling, and optimize performance. You will work with data engineers to ensure efficient ETL pipelines and data refresh processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Implement data modeling (star/snowflake schema) and DAX calculations.
• Optimize Power BI performance and ensure efficient reporting.
• Collaborate with data engineers on ETL processes and data refreshes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 years of Power BI development experience, including dashboard creation and data modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in DAX and Power Query.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and optimizing large datasets.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, or other cloud-based data solutions.
• Familiarity with Power Automate and REST APIs.
• Understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Microsoft Power BI, Azure Data Engineer, or related areas (e.g., PL300, DP600, DP700).
• Experience with scalable self-service BI solutions and data technologies like Databricks, Snowflake, or Hadoop.
• Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics.
