What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Catastrophe (CAT) Operations position at CE Insurance Services?
My client is seeking to hire a TPA Catastrophe Claims Director that has experience in managing CAT events of 5,000 plus claims nationwide. We would consider a CAT Manager or current Director, but managing a CAT event from a TPA or IA prospective is 100% necessary. This pivotal position entails overseeing all facets of our response to Catastrophic events across the country. The Director of Catastrophe Operations plays a key role in achieving departmental operating objectives and ensuring efficient claims handling for all our carrier partners.
As the Director of Catastrophe Operations, the individual will drive claims productivity, deliver tailored client services, and foster the growth of Supervisors and Managers under their direct supervision. Collaboration with the Chief Claims Officer is integral to crafting the annual business strategy for the claims operation within their purview.
