Your Role:
As a Student Advisor-Custom Programs (SA-C), you play a key role at CEA CAPA Education Abroad. Acting as the primary pre-departure contact for students enrolling in custom CEA CAPA programs from our key sending institutions, the SA-C will guide students through the predeparture process. SA-C’s advise students and families on all program-related topics including health and safety, course registration, visa and immigration processes and housing. Collaborating with the Custom Program Management team the SA-C ensures students receive timely and accurate advising based on institutional partner requirements .

What You’ll Do:
- Serve as primary point of contact for students and families throughout the pre-departure process with a focus on customer service excellence and retention, utilizing phone, text, and email to provide timely and personalized support.
- Develop expertise on program details and locations for assigned custom programs
- Work in partnership with the Custom Program Management & Institution Relations team to provide the best pre-departure experience for your portfolio of programs
- Monitor student progress to ensure timely completion of pre-departure requirements.
- Master the visa and immigration processes for multiple countries and provide accurate guidance and advice to students.
- Create and maintain accurate, relevant program-specific program literature to support students during the pre-departure process.
- Present and administer group pre-departure orientation sessions in partnership with Custom Program Manager and Partner Institutions
- Assist with emergency phone duties as required.
What Makes a Great Candidate:
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of experience preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to justice, equity, inclusion, and diversity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS): Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience using CRM (Customer Relations Management) databases, Salesforce preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to respect confidentiality and ethical boundaries regarding student privacy
