Position Summary
CEC seeks a FP&A Manager to spearhead growth initiatives through financial analysis and strategic insight. This role is ideal for a finance professional eager to make an impact within a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. You’ll lead efforts in developing and optimizing financial models, conducting in-depth business analyses, supporting mergers and acquisitions, and crafting strategic presentations that guide key executive decisions. We’re looking for candidates from top-tier backgrounds in management consulting, investment banking, or advanced FP&A, with a strong business acumen, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to excel in dynamic settings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Lead the financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning processes.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to provide insights for business decisions.
- Prepare and present financial reports, identifying trends and offering recommendations for senior leadership.
- Analyze financial performance and variances from forecasts, providing actionable strategies to optimize results.
- Corporate Development & M&A:
- Lead financial analysis and valuation assessments for M&A opportunities.
- Support the due diligence process, evaluating risks and opportunities with internal and external teams.
- Support post-acquisition integration, ensuring new acquisitions align with company goals.
- Leadership & Collaboration:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the C-suite, providing data-driven insights that guide high-impact decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional projects, driving collaboration and ensuring excellence.
- Develop and present high-impact quick-turnaround presentations that clearly communicate complex data and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects and smooth operation of department
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- 3 years of relevant experience. Industries considered include investment banking, management consulting, FP&A, or related fields, with a strong capability in financial analysis and financial modeling.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Proven success in fast-paced, high-turnaround environments, delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Expertise in building and maintaining detailed financial models, integrating historical financials with projections.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering actionable business insights.
- Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to communicate financial and strategic data to senior executives.
- Experience in M&A a plus; including deal evaluation, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration.
- Leadership abilities with a focus on collaboration, team growth, and accountability.
