Overview:
CEC Controls is currently recruiting for an Administrative Accounting Clerk at our office location in Warren Michigan. This individual will perform accounting and administrative duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions and will report to the Assistant Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Tasks:
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
- Coordinate office supply orders.
- Answer phones and direct calls as needed.
- Company credit card reconciliation.
- Check, scan, and distribute receivers.
- Assist with miscellaneous office projects as needed.
Company Events:
- Provide support in organizing and coordinating company events and activities.
Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process and record invoices for payment.
- Organize and file payments and expenses.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent, college degree is not required
- Minimum of one to three years’ work experience
- A proficiency in computer skills is required, including the most recent versions of Microsoft Office
- Understanding of Administrative and Accounting
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
