Industrial Electrician
CEC Motor and Utility Services has an immediate full-time opportunity for an experienced Industrial Field Electrician at our service center in Palmetto, FL. The position includes the installation, maintenance, and service of three-phase electrical systems, troubleshooting controls, and working with high voltages.

Monday - Friday (7 am - 3 : 30 pm)

Physical Demands :
Must be able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
Reporting Relationships :
The Industrial Electrician reports to the General Manager
Note : This position requires drug and background screening.
Compensation : 25 - $30 hour
Responsibilities :
Troubleshoot causes of electrical failures.
Install VFDs, generators, electrical motors, and automatic power transfer switches.
Create sketches for electrical layout and installations.
Calculate line leads to determine capacity, wire size, and equipment size.
Knowledge of and adherence to all NEC requirements.
Knowledge of testing, safety, and process-sensing equipment.
Ability to interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and piping layouts.
Ability to work independently and as a team member to complete daily activities according to work schedule.
Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions.
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
Qualifications :
Valid Driver’s License (required).
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Industrial Electrician Experience : 4 years (required).
Troubleshooting Experience : 1 year (preferred).
Journeyman License (preferred).
Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and piping layouts.
