What are the responsibilities and job description for the Set-Up Technician position at CEC Turf & Tractor?

Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties

Preform pre-delivery work and inspection of all equipment to meet dealership standards
Check tire pressure, oil levels, and fuel level
Ensure each function works properly and safely for customer use
Responsible for un-crating, set-up, and assembly of tractors, mowers, and implements
Perform warranty inspections
Ensure the danger, warning, and caution labels are legible
Complete interior and exterior body work as necessary (i.e. sheet metal repair, graphics etc.)
Responsible for keeping the warehouse and dealership property and inventory clean, orderly, and groomed
Represent CEC Turf and Tractor in a professional manner when on the job and in company branded gear
Responsible for Unloading of Equipment, Parts, and Supplies
Safely operate a forklift (training will be provided)

Qualifications

High School Education

Mechanical ability and experience with hand and power tools

2 years of relevant experience

Must possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work with minimal supervision

Good hand-eye coordination, problem solving skills, and attention to detail

Strong communication and customer service skills

Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Criminal Background screening and Drug Test

Physical Requirements

Required to sit / stand / kneel / bend for long periods, regularly required to use hands, wrists, and fingers for a variety of tasks

Ability to lift 50-100 lbs.

Ability to work in all weather conditions
