What are the responsibilities and job description for the Set-Up Technician position at Turf & Tractor Branding?
Responsibilities and Duties
- Preform pre-delivery work and inspection of all equipment to meet dealership standards
- Check tire pressure, oil levels, and fuel level
- Ensure each function works properly and safely for customer use
- Responsible for un-crating, set-up, and assembly of tractors, mowers, and implements
- Perform warranty inspections
- Ensure the danger, warning, and caution labels are legible
- Complete interior and exterior body work as necessary (i.e. sheet metal repair, graphics etc.)
- Responsible for keeping the warehouse and dealership property and inventory clean, orderly, and groomed
- Represent CEC Turf and Tractor in a professional manner when on the job and in company branded gear
- Responsible for Unloading of Equipment, Parts, and Supplies
- Safely operate a forklift (training will be provided)
Qualifications
- High School Education
- Mechanical ability and experience with hand and power tools
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Must possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good hand-eye coordination, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Criminal Background screening and Drug Test
Physical Requirements
- Required to sit/stand/kneel/bend for long periods, regularly required to use hands, wrists, and fingers for a variety of tasks
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
