Adjunct Faculty Position
We are seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach BUS 103 Introduction to Business at a local high school on Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday from 7:30am - 9:30am.
This is a part-time contract position with a maximum of 24 credit hours per fiscal year.
Responsibilities
- Convey course material to students to attain instructional objectives
- Complete course assessments as requested by the Department Chairperson
- Maintain availability of course materials via the Learning Management system
- Meet program-specific requirements for employment and supervision of students
- Hold classes for the full amount of time specified
- Notify the Academic Programs Office of any urgent class absences
- Facilitate quality learning experiences for students
- Submit grades and documentation in a timely manner
- Support College testing programs
Requirements
- Successful college-level teaching experience in the related field
- Prior teaching experience in a college/university setting
- Current knowledge and skill in information and computer technology
- Able to work with students with special needs based on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
