SUMMARY :
We are seeking a dynamic Business Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth by conducting research and interfacing with the stakeholders of US Navy and Coast Guard shipbuilding project teams and ongoing fleet operations, identifying project leads, developing and improving business relationships, and maintaining an extensive knowledge of market conditions.
Your Responsibilities Will Be :
- Establish and expand relationships with stakeholders to grow CECO’s business supporting US Navy, US Coast Guard and NATO fleet applications.
- Develop and enhance relationships with prospective clients such as Shipyards, US Navy, USCG, Military Sealift Command, NATO partner shipyards and design centers.
- Enhance relationships with US Navy technical groups (NAVSEA, Carderock) primarily in Washington, DC and Philadelphia to expand existing relationships across all ship Classes.
- Define and manage opportunities across the landscape of ship Classes to present the Company’s innovative solutions for air intake filtration, intake / exhaust acoustic silencers and water treatment systems (RO and OWS).
- Collaborate with our sales & engineering teams to execute growth strategies. Collaborate with our marketing team to build messaging & proposal support collateral.
- Gather and maintain useful information from industry conferences and events, customer and competitor data, and online information sources.
- Prepare and give presentations to clients, stakeholders and CECO management.
- Prioritize, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline.
- Support forecasting efforts.
