Function:
Under direct supervision of the Manager and/or the appropriate Team Leader, carry out routine campground tasks as needed throughout the campground, assists guests and co-workers or other tasks as stipulated by management. To provide guests with a distinctly enjoyable and memorably superior experience by ensuring the highest quality of Hospitality, Services and Facilities in a serene, natural environment.
Statement of Objectives:
The candidate selected for this position will be entrusted with primary responsibility for assisting as needed in the general operation of the campground and facilities.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete tasks as assigned by management in a timely and professional manner. These tasks may include but not limited to:
Maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds which may include minor plumbing, electrical projects.
Making sure that all sites are cleaned, raked, and free of trash daily.
Cleaning bathrooms, recreational spaces, communal spaces, and patios daily and possibly multiple times a day.
Weed removal, weed spraying, taking care of trees and vegetation in the park, and painting.
Following work orders, making repairs to items that your manager assigns.
Assisting with projects such as landscaping, moving picnic tables, getting mail at the post office.
Mowing/trimming of grass
Maintain dog waste stations.
Other duties as specified by campground management.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be unquestionably friendly, congenial and courteous to guests and staff.
Must be in good physical condition, able to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, grasp, push pull carry up to 20 pounds, and have the corrective devices if needed.
Good vision, hearing and the ability to communicate verbally in the English language.
Clean, neat, and professional appearance.
Enjoy meeting and working with the public; possess excellent social skills, yet not be adverse to hands-on cleaning and maintenance duties.
Prior experience in campground procedures desirable.
Salary : $13 - $14
