Job Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn, grow, and make lasting memories. This is a rewarding opportunity to positively impact the lives of young campers. Responsibilities: - Supervise and engage with campers during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being - Plan and lead age-appropriate recreational activities, games, and crafts - Provide guidance and support to campers in developing social skills and positive behavior - Assist with mealtime routines, including serving meals and promoting healthy eating habits - Collaborate with other camp staff to create a positive and inclusive camp experience - Monitor campers' progress and communicate with parents/guardians regarding their child's participation Requirements: - Experience working with children in a tutoring, early childhood education, or childcare setting - Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with campers, parents/guardians, and fellow staff members - Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviors with patience and empathy - Familiarity with Christian counseling principles (preferred but not required) - Special education background or experience working with students with special needs (preferred but not required) - CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required) Join our team of dedicated Camp Counselors and make a difference in the lives of children this summer!
