Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan opened in 2017 as a beautiful and state of the art 54-bed facility. Cedar Creek provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues. Cedar Creek Hospital invests in our patients by offering an integrated medicine approach that provides the latest therapies including yoga, mindfulness, aromatherapy, music therapy and nutrition. As part of our success and innovation in the field we are seeking qualified applicants for a HR Generalist/Recruiting position.

The Human Resource Generalist will focus primarily on Recruitment, and will also provide additional support for HR functions:
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with managers and directors concerning department needs.
- Conducts background checks and other employee eligibility verifications, both at initial hire and ongoing basis as required.
- Conducts new hire onboarding and new hire orientation.
- Performs tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to HRIS; compensation; benefits; and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Hours:
Hours for this position are 20 hours per week. This role is Work from Home Flexible.

Qualifications
HR Generalist
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in human resources required. Recruiting Experience strongly preferred.
- Effective oral, written, phone and digital communication skills.
- Effective computer skills including experience in MS Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems.
