What are the responsibilities and job description for the Character Performer $14/HR position at Cedar Fair Entertainment Company?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be willing to act as an escort for Costume Characters at designated times
- Maintain character costume (clean, mend, brush)
- Adhere to and maintain all WB Licensing Regulations and Standards
- Attend special events inside and outside the park (promotions, photo shoots, etc.) this includes helping prepare by packing characters and equipment
- Meet and greet guests (shake hands, give hugs, dance)
- Support and promote guest first philosophy
- Maintain a regular prompt attendance record
- Must adhere to grooming code standards
- Assist with other tasks and duties as deemed necessary.
- Must be at least 15 years of age
- Should be between the heights of 4’11” and 5’10”
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Must have good conversation skills
- Must fit all WB Licensing Standards
- Must possess an outgoing and positive personality
- Must be in good physical condition
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to maintain high energy while working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
- Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
