As an Information Systems Technician at the Thrill Capital of New England…
You’ll contribute to your mission by:
- Providing technical support to park guests and staff in a positive and professional manner
- Deploying, installing, supporting, and maintaining all IT systems and equipment including computer hardware, software, network, phone, and audio-video, including point of sale systems, ticketing, desktop hardware and software, network equipment, phone, and audio-video systems
- Responding promptly to all IT calls and work orders; placing help calls when needed to Corporate IT and contractors
- Documenting technical issues and resolutions through use of help desk software
- Completing daily audit of park systems; Requiring a full walk through of the park at least two times per shift
- Completing daily pre-opening checks of critical park systems, including point of sale, ticketing, Season Pass systems, and network health, along with a detailed check of the park’s data center
- Maintaining an accurate inventory of all department-owned software and hardware assets
- Monitoring and maintaining sound and video equipment
- Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies
- Assisting in other areas of the park as needed
- Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
- Ability to confidentially handle sensitive information
- Experience working with Microsoft Technologies including Active Directory, SCCM, PowerShell, Office 365, etc.
- Basic knowledge of VoIP systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve computer and network related issues independently
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
- Intermediate computer skills
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.
- Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
- 18 years old or older
