Bagging Plant Operator (Entry Level)

Cedar Grove Composting is currently seeking a Bag Plant Operator to be based out of our Maple Valley location. In this position, you will be operating a bagging plant to fill, seal, and stack bags on pallets for delivery. You will also be performing general housekeeping throughout the shift and at the end of the shift to maintain a clean and safe working environment. The schedule for this position is Monday thru Friday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate safely and efficiently equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, pallet wrapping machines.
• Work safely around conveyor belts.
• Operate portable and stationary screening equipment.
• Perform routine clean-up of work area on daily basis.

Required Skills

• Must be self-motivated and able to meet operational performance standards.
• Must work as a team member.
• Flexible work schedule due to seasonal demands including overtime.

Education/Certification

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have a valid Washington driver’s license

Experience/Other

• Forklift experience is a plus
• History of good employment attendance

Physical Demands

To successfully perform the essential duties of this position, an individual must be able to stand for four or more hours per day, and frequently lift, push/pull, and/or carry objects up to 50 pounds.
