What you’ll do:
The Foundation Coordinator for Cedar Lake Foundation is responsible for assisting in and supporting fundraising and communications activities. S/he works collaboratively with and reports to the Executive Director of Cedar Lake Foundation. The Foundation Administrator is responsible for all administrative aspects of development and communication activities. In addition, the coordinator provides logistical support for all events and manages all donor and gift databases.
- Leads team on Donor Stewardship Process through timely thank you letters, correspondences, and assist with donor stewardship and cultivation events that drive donor acquisition and retention.
- Welcome New Donors & Volunteers
- Manages and executes Digital/Electronic Deposits
- Manage Donor Acknowledgement Process: Drafts & Sends donor acknowledgment letters and emails
- Work with the Director of Events & Engagement to provide logistical support for all fundraising events with a particular emphasis on registration and check-out.
- Data Entry Mail Lists & Reporting from Database: Organize and maintain confidential donor records in Bloomerang; enter and acknowledge all donations; research database to help cultivate and solicit current, lapsed, and prospective donors.
- Monthly donation reconciliation with Finance team member.
- Gathers content for monthly Cedar Lake Foundation e-newsletter.
- Processes Corporate Matches and tracks internal and external Employee Giving
- Attend weekly staff meetings and create and utilize standard and custom reports to help Foundation plan, coordinate, communicate, acquire, track and acknowledge contributions and execute appeals.
- Prepare in-house mailing lists and coordinate with printer, mail house, or volunteers as needed and appropriate.
- Manage all donor, gift and volunteer tracking databases
- Perform other duties as assigned and delegated by supervisor
What sets you apart:
- 2-4-year college degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience with a donor database required.
- Valid Kentucky driver’s license.
What your typical schedule looks like:
- Full-time schedule, 40 hours per week. Responsibilities may occasionally include extended hours or weekends as needed.
