WAIT STAFF
Servers are primarily responsible for the set-up and execution of all hotel and event meals to meet Cedar Lakes’ high standards. Servers must work as a team to ensure that guest needs are met, from serving cocktails and dinner, to pouring water and clearing the tables. Candidates must be hard-working, with a warm and welcoming demeanor. All candidates must work well under pressure and excellent people skills are a must.
Job Duties
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all Front of House storage areas
- Ensures sanitation and safety codes are met
- Serve, maintain and clear meals at multiple locations on property
- Read and understand ‘Run of Show’ (ROS) emails before each event to familiarize oneself with the details including but not limited to;
- Knowledge of all food and beverages being served
- Guest dietary needs
- Details of event locations and meal set-ups
- Timeline of event
- Uses creativity to go above and beyond guest expectations including but not limited to;
- Upholding Cedar Lakes service standards while maintaining our brand
- Executing guest requests to the best of his/her ability
- Understanding and anticipating guest's needs and expectations, using tools provided to exceed guest expectations
Requirements
- Must take direction from upper management
- Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
- Able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Detail oriented
- Consistently punctual
- Be a forward thinker
- Complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Team player and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done perfectly
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
