Job Overview
Administrative Assistant/Church Secretary
Office Hours Monday through Thursday 9:00am - 3:00pm

Qualifications
- Must be a professing Christian whose convictions reflect the mission values of the Church.
- Must be able to demonstrate courtesy and maturity in a positive manner when interacting with others.
- Must be well organized and skilled at multi-tasking.
Duties
- Ability to work independently.
- Computer experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Support Pastoral staff, Deacon board, committee's and members in a daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
- Manage the Church calendar including event scheduling, facility use request and staff schedules.
- Manage Church membership records.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to messages in a timely manner.
- Manage the Church email systems (Gmail & Mailchimp).
- Manage the Church website and Facebook pages.
- Maintain files and records in an organized manner.
- Manage and balance the Church bank accounts, deposits, contributions and outgoing payments.
- Manage and keep a balanced financial budget and prepare a monthly financial report.
- Order supplies for the Church ministries, office, janitorial and event needs.
- Weekly design and printing of the Church bulletin.
- Design event flyers and advertisements.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Administrative or Secretarial experience is preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
