Job Summary
The Technology Services Technician shall ensure technology-based systems are running efficiently and manage the help desk ticket system.
Responsibilities
- Work as a member of the technology team to support overall technology needs of the agency.
- Assist in managing software in a Microsoft environment and troubleshooting and troubleshooting phone systems.
- Provide computer support to employees in all CEDARS locations.
- Install, configure, and maintain business computer software including Microsoft Windows operating and application systems and various authorized software applications.
- Perform computer maintenance such as hardware upgrades, memory installation, and troubleshooting.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Assist with Onboarding new staff
- Helpdesk first responder
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of CEDARS.
- Maintain confidentiality of clients served by this organization and professional boundaries in the provision of services. Treat all clients with dignity and respect.
- Certifications are preferred.
- The ability to work positively with non-technical team members.
- A genuine interest in and concern for all youth and families.
- Sensitivity to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the clients and families CEDARS serves.
- Ability to represent CEDARS in a positive and professional manner.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written directions.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Have a valid Nebraska driver’s license and a good driving record.
