Summary

We are seeking a skilled Proposal Writer to join our team at CEG Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling proposals that effectively communicate our innovative energy solutions to potential clients. Your contributions will play a vital role in driving our mission to create impactful energy efficiencies.

What You'll Do

Bring you experience writing proposals for sustainability-focused development and design-build construction firms and passion to deliver innovative energy infrastructure solutions to clients. You will collaborate with our team of experts and take the lead and ownership of prequalification and proposal preparation. This includes coordinating RFQ and RFP preparation, including, but not limited to, scope, resumes, project lists, organization charts, and any collateral/supporting documentation

• You will need to be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where clear and precise communication is critical to the continued growth of the business
• You’ll also develop compliance matrices, timelines for document preparation, submission requirements and responsibilities, and final package submission
• You’ll be able to use your creative skills to design, prepare, and format general introductory packages, handouts, and presentations
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in related field.
• Five years of experience and knowledge of the A|E|C industries, specifically Energy Service Companies (ESCOs)/Energy Performance Contracting field is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a writer on technical proposals.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and write about complex engineering topics.
• Strong project management with attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
• Familiarity and/or expertise in sustainable energy solutions.

Work environment

• This is a remote work from home opportunity. Office equipment is provided including laptop, monitor, docking station and phone.
  
  

Physical demands

• This position requires sitting for periods of time at a computer with the freedom to walk around office when necessary; phone, copy machine, and other office machine use; participate in teleconferences using a headset/earpiece, and lifting to 50 lbs. as needed.
