Data Engineer – Customer Engagement (CE) Modeling & Analytics

Job Summary : We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Support Analyst to ensure the operational reliability of our Customer Engagement (CE) modeling and analytics software applications. In this role, you'll monitor and maintain the seamless flow of CE model data, dashboards, and automated extracts. You will quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal performance, providing support to downstream users and ensuring smooth operation of business-critical platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
Operational Monitoring & Maintenance : Ensure the ongoing reliability and operational readiness of CE systems, including model data flows, dashboards, and automated extracts.
Issue Resolution & Support : Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver timely solutions.
Collaboration & Communication : Build strong relationships with the CE department and support teams to manage and prioritize issue resolutions. Provide clear timelines and progress updates to stakeholders.
Automation & Documentation : Develop and maintain automated operational processes and ensure up-to-date technical documentation, including run books and workflows.
Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement : Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement proactive solutions to minimize future disruptions.
Prioritize Issues : Collaborate with Marketing and other departments to prioritize and resolve operational issues based on their impact on business functions.
Performance Monitoring : Continuously monitor system performance to identify opportunities for optimization, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability.
Technical Skills & Knowledge :
Expertise with Snowflake, Dataiku, and Tableau SaaS platforms, including scripting, data flow automation, and extract operations.
Proficiency in Machine Learning and Statistical Modeling, with hands-on experience in platforms like Dataiku, DataRobot, and Azure ML Studio.
Advanced SQL and Python skills for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
Experience developing and deploying predictive models, such as Decision Trees, Logistic Regression, and Random Forests.
Experience working with large datasets, including integration, cleansing, and transformation.
Proficient in creating and maintaining Tableau Dashboards for business intelligence.
Familiarity with production support concepts, such as incident reporting, testing, debugging, and system audits.
Required Qualifications :
Strong Machine Learning and Statistical Modeling expertise.
Experience with Data Integration and Data Quality Management.
Proven ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly and concisely.
Strong problem-solving ability to quickly identify issues, propose solutions, and implement timely resolutions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems and maintain operational stability.
Prior experience in production support roles or with high-availability systems.
Background in marketing analytics or related business functions.
Preferred skillset :
5 years supporting Data Analytics / ML Platforms as a Data / ML Engineer or Programmer, focusing on building, deploying, and supporting ML models and data-driven solutions.
3 years hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data discovery, profiling, and managing large, complex datasets. Expertise in designing and automating efficient data pipelines.
Advanced proficiency in machine learning techniques, including Decision Trees, Logistic Regression, Random Forests, and scaling models for production.
3 years of experience working with Data Science platforms like Dataiku, DataRobot, or Azure ML Studio.
Strong Python programming skills, including experience with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
2 years of SQL experience, writing complex queries for data manipulation, integration, and analysis in Snowflake.
2 years of Tableau experience, with proven ability to develop interactive dashboards and deliver actionable insights.
